Dean Dawe — Founder of Titan Depot

Dean Dawe is the founder of Titan Depot, a London-based protective clothing company specialising in slash-resistant clothing, body armour and Kevlar-lined garments for security professionals, NHS workers, lone workers and civilians.

Background

Dean founded Titan Depot after a personal experience with knife crime changed his perspective on personal protection. When his stepson was robbed at knifepoint, Dean began investigating what protective clothing options were available to ordinary people — and found a significant gap in the market for everyday protective garments that were both effective and discreet.

Drawing on his background in the security industry and his connections with protective equipment manufacturers, Dean built Titan Depot from the ground up in London, sourcing Kevlar-lined and Dyneema-lined garments directly from manufacturers to make protective clothing accessible to anyone who needed it — not just police or military.

Knife-Awareness Campaign

Beyond selling protective clothing, Dean has campaigned publicly on knife crime awareness in the UK, with a particular focus on protecting young people. This campaign attracted national media coverage across major UK outlets:
