Our T-shirts are reinforced with advanced cut-resistant fabrics, delivering discreet yet powerful protection exactly where it counts. Long sleeves provide full-arm defence from shoulder to wrist, while short sleeves offer enhanced upper-arm coverage with greater breathability for warmer conditions or high-mobility roles.
With slash protection level Level 2, they're engineered to handle real-world threats without looking tactical or bulky. Wear them on their own or layer under body armour for adaptable, low-profile protection that moves with you.
Designed for security professionals, law enforcement, door supervisors, military personnel, and anyone operating in high-risk environments, these shirts are made to perform under pressure.
Frequently Asked Questions
What makes these T-shirts cut resistant?
Each T-shirt contains a concealed inner lining of DuPont™ Kevlar® or Dyneema® fibre — the same materials used in body armour. The lining is sewn invisibly into the garment and forces a blade to deflect rather than cut through to the skin. From the outside, they are completely indistinguishable from standard T-shirts.
What level of cut protection do they offer?
All Titan Depot cut-resistant T-shirts carry EN388 Level 2 cut resistance, independently lab-tested. This is the standard protection level for slash-resistant everyday clothing. Level 2 protects against a blade drawn laterally across the fabric — the most common form of knife injury.
Will they stop a stabbing attack?
No. Cut-resistant T-shirts are designed to protect against slashing attacks — a blade drawn across the body. They are not rated or tested for direct stabbing (a blade thrust point-first). For stab protection, a KR1-rated body armour vest is required. Many customers wear both for layered protection.
Can I wash them normally?
Yes. All cut-resistant T-shirts are machine washable. Wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle and air dry where possible. Avoid tumble drying at high heat as this can degrade the protective lining over time. Full care instructions are included with each garment.
Who wears cut-resistant T-shirts?
Security guards and door supervisors, NHS and mental health workers, lone workers (housing officers, delivery drivers, social workers), retail and hospitality staff, prison officers, and parents wanting discreet protection for children in high knife crime areas. The garments look identical to normal T-shirts — no one can tell you are protected.
Short sleeve or long sleeve — which should I choose?
Short sleeves offer upper-arm and torso protection with better breathability — ideal for warmer conditions and indoor environments. Long sleeves extend protection from shoulder to wrist, covering the forearms which are commonly targeted in slash attacks. If you are in a high-risk role involving physical confrontation, long sleeves provide more comprehensive coverage.
